Theme: Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All
The Open University Staff Welfare Association in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University has organised a programme in the Lecture Theatre of the Open University of Mauritius on 21 September 2017. Mr Pradeep Jagutpal, Professional Stress Consultant, Therapeutic Counsellor and Neuro-biofeedback Practitioner of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University was invited to grace the event. Mr Rajen Permall, the President of the Open University Staff Welfare Association welcomed everyone. Mr Pradeep Jagutpal talked about the theme of the day: Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All, followed by reflection of peace.
As part of the activities, people were invited to contribute for World Peace by giving up one peaceless thought in writing and taking one peace message. Slogans and sayings on values were also displayed.
In the context of International Day of Peace, the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University was invited by the Junior Chamber International Curepipe to deliver a talk to kids and youth of Pointe aux Sables on Peace and Values in collaboration with the Association La Caze Jeunne on Saturday 30 September, 2017 from 9:30 - 12:00.
Brother Pradeep drew special attention to the true meaning and the importance of Peace in our life through a PowerPoint presentation followed by entertaining games and powerful peace experience.
