HONORARY FREEDOM of the Town of Curepipe

The Municipal Council of Curepipe at a meeting of the Council held on 30^th March 2022, it was unanimously resolved that the HONORARY FREEDOM of the Town of Curepipe be conferred upon Sister Geeta, Director of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University – Mauritius in recognition of her major contribution in the religious and Spiritual field and has duly made HONORARY FREEMAN of the Town of Curepipe, Mauritius. She has been instrument for service in this town for the past 40 years.

It was also unanimously resolved that the MEDAL OF THE TOWN OF CUREPIPE be conferred upon Mr JAGUTPAL Pradeep Kumar Singh, dedicated brother of the Brahma kumaris in recognition of his major contribution in the social and religious field and has been duly made the MEDALIST of the town of Curepipe. Brother Pradeep Jagutpal is the coordinator of Academy for Integrated and Sustainable Development, run under the aegis of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University.

 By virtue of the said resolution their name has been enrolled in the Register of the Honorary Freeman of the Town.

This 18^th November 2022 the official decoration ceremony was made by His Worship the Mayor, Mr Hans Margueritte, in the presence of Deputy Mayor, Mr Samy Chellen, the Chief Executive of the Municipal Council of Curepipe, Mrs Coonjan-Jugroop Subhowantee and other eminent personalities at the Carnegie Library, Queen Elizabeth II Street, Curepipe.
